Masterplanet
Masterplanet is a visual, mostly language-less guide to the current climate crisis. The project that aims to establish a master plan for achieving a carbon-neutral planet Earth, while addressing the fundamental challenges of energy, transport, industry, biodiversity, resources, pollution, water, food and prosperous living conditions for a world with up to 10 billion inhabitants.

Masterplanet is published by Taschen in 'Formgiving' by Bjarke Ingels Group. The book looks into the works of BIG and the firm's ethos of sustainable hedonism and giving form to the future.

Research
Masterplanet is an internal research project commissioned to look into the current state of the climate crisis. Mass research and data analysis was essential to constructing the book.

Visualisation
Next, this data and research was sketched out into diagrams to communicate ideas in an easy to understand and stimulating manner.

Editorial
The content was then arranged, copy was added and the narrative finally came together. Masterplanet is still a work in progress and is constantly evolving, as is the state of our environment.
